One A-Chord (OAC) Academy seeks to provide opportunities for youth 6th-12th grades to live, learn and love music and the arts regardless of socioeconomic background. Through group instruction, students gain valuable skills not only in playing their instruments, but also in skills for life, e.g. endurance, determination and commitment.  We provide top-notch, engaging instruction and have high expectations for our students to achieve excellence in music and the arts.  

Currently we offer classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-7p.m.  Each class is one hour, and students are welcome to take as many classes as they desire. Class sessions last for 6 weeks. Our schedule is set up so that inexperienced students can explore many different areas of the arts, or experienced students can focus and excel in a specific area.  CORE classes are offered year round in bass, guitar, drums, piano and voice.  SPECIALTY classes are offered by guest instructors who have expertise in other artistic areas such as dance, drama and visual arts/drawing. These classes may not be offered every session due to instructor availability.  

After a 6-week session is completed, a student can choose a different class that is offered or may continue in one of the core classes. We hope this flexibility allows students to widen their appreciation of the arts without having to commit large amounts of time and money.  Each 6-week session is $42 ($7 per each one-hour lesson).
